“Chiropractic Holiday Headspace” 2 of 2

snow-flake

Yesterday, I talked about “marketing” only to your active and inactive list during the Holidays.

Today, I’d like to discuss what your plans are AFTER the Holidays and what you can do this year to better prepare for 2013.

Personally, during this time of year, I reflect on…

How can I simplify my life? – SIMPLIFY

Am I the best ____________ I can be or have I been slacking in this area? – IMPROVE

What lies have I been telling myself? – BE HONEST

What relationships need mending? – REACH OUT

How can I do more of what is important to me? -GO FOR IT

Professionally…

What did I accomplish this year? – CELEBRATE

What did I learn from any challenges that I experienced? – LEARN

What distracted me this year and how can I prevent things like that from happening again? – PREVENT

Have I been accepting people and things as they are or do I focus on how I think they should be? – ACCEPT

Is everything I do in my work (the people I associate with, the projects I say “Yes” to, the reasons why I do what I do, etc.) congruent with my values, what is important to me, and the balanced healthy life that I want to continue living? – BALANCE

There’s only 24 hours in a day; none of us can afford to waste it so be careful what you say “yes” ( COMMIT ) and “No” ( IGNORE ) to and REALLY be careful of the stories you create in your head about virtually everything… because they are rarely true and are the most damaging of all.

Watching Your Back,
