One of the complaints many patients have about Chiropractors is that Chiropractors sell long and expensive packages of care.
…and REGARDLESS if they are right or wrong, REGARDLESS if the care is warranted and worth every penny, this point of view exists and you have to deal with it.
But, before I go any further, I need to bring up one exception to the rule:
THE MORE DESPARATE A PATIENT
IS FOR A SOLUTION, THE MORE CHRONIC
THE CONDITION IS, AND THE MORE PAIN THAT
THE PATIENT IS IN (ALL 3 OF THESE MUST EXIST),
THE MORE THEY WILL PAY FOR THEIR CARE.
But there’s the rub…
These types of patients are seldom referred in.
These type of patients must be marketed to.
These type of patients cost $500-$1,000 each to attract.
If you have the marketing skills and the ability to sell, it CAN be done but in this economy, it is a little more difficult and a lot more risky.
That is why so many doctors are embracing relief care and everything the PBA does for them.
Is relief care a lot easier? Not necessarily.
Relief care doctors must have their act together; especially Chiropractors…patients are just less tolerant of average Chiropractic doctors.
So, don’t be average, follow the PBA “fertile ground” protocols, and just give patients what they want!
